I (and others) need a cable to connect the Droid to a Bose SoundDock II http://www.bose.com/controller?url=/shop_online/digital_music_systems/sounddock_systems/sounddock/index.jsp.

The Universal Dock Converter product pages states that the converter isn't compatible with "Bose SoundDock Series I". Is this referring to the aforementioned SoundDock II?

I also see the Dock Input Cable http://www.cablejive.com/products/Dock-Input-Cable.html mentioned as an alternative. Will this cable allow me to play music on SoundDock II though a Motorola Droid phone? I want to make sure this has been confirmed before I shell out $40 for the cable.

Our Universal Dock Converters and Dock Input Cables are not compatible with the Bose SoundDock II. The reason we do not mention it is because there is already an AUX input on the Bose SoundDock II in the back of the system, which outside of charging, essentially makes our Universal Dock Converter and to even more of an extent, our Dock Input Cable, unnecessary for that system. So in the end, these cables would not work with the SoundDock II, but you shouldn't need them to play music through your Droid anyway.

My Bose SoundDock doesn't have an aux in. I must have the first gen.
