How long will my order take?
Within a day or two we will send a confirmation that we have your order, and will give an indication of how long it will take for your order to ship. We would love to get your cable out to you the next day but since CableJive cables are custom made, and volume can get high, it may take a few days. Typical turnaround is a week. If you have a pressing need drop us an email at the time you place your order, we can usually honor express requests.

Can I get rush shipping?
Yes, you can. In the past we've done this only on special request, but are offering it on a trial basis. For US-based orders, rush shipping is FedEx 2-day and adds $15 to your shipping. For international, rush shipping adds $35 to your shipping and packages are shipped United States Postal Service International Express, which is 2-3 days. These costs are based on single-cable orders, please contact us if you want rush shipping for multiple cables. Remember, the cable still must be custom made. We do prioritize rush orders, but do not guarantee that they ship the same day the order is placed. If you need it by a certain day, please add a note to the order.

Will SoundDock_tm cables work with other iPod devices or plugs?
The cable adheres to the iPod connector specification which means it might work with other devices. Since we have only done testing with the SoundDock we cannot be sure. So far we've heard back from some customers who are very happy to report that the cable works well on their car iPod interface, others who didn't have good news to report:

I am running my iPod off of a Logjam interface in my 2003 Honda Accord Sedan EX-L NAV V6, I got your cable today and now I can run my XM [radio] signal directly through my AUX in. The iPod interface recognizes the signal and sound quality is great.

Works like a charm. Enfig adapters for 2006 VW Jettas work fine (Enfig MK5 NAV IPOD). [The enfig] plugs into the power and aux in of my head unit so that it charges my iPod and gives me a pre-amp in that's fed off the dock connector.

The cable does not work with the factory-installed VW iPod interface.

Do the SoundDock_tm cables have protective circuitry?
Yes, we use a series of resistors in the dock adapter to make it safe for the SoundDock_tm.

Are your cables guaranteed?
We guarantee that the cable will be constructed well and it will work on your working iPod or iPod device. We only guarantee the cable itself. If the cable fails please contact us and we can provide a replacement cable.

I'm not sure if the cable will work, can I have a trial?
There are so many places that one of these cables might work, but it isn't clear until you actually plug it in. For folks trying a cable on a new device we promise that if the cable doesn't work for your needs you can return the cable for a refund. You may wish to send a note inquiring about your particular use in case we've encountered it before.
